Independent Antivirus Reviews, Comparisons & Buying Guides

Clear comparisons, not affiliate quotas

zeroglitch is developed and operated by Thynkr Labs. We started this site because most antivirus "reviews" online are really just rewritten marketing copy, ranked by whichever vendor pays the most for a placement.

We score every suite we cover — currently Norton, Avast, and McAfee — against the same fixed set of criteria, so a reader can actually compare the numbers and know they mean the same thing across brands.

zeroglitch is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any antivirus vendor named on this site. Read our full disclaimer for details.

How we put a review together

The same four steps, every time, for every antivirus suite we cover.

1. Research

We review the vendor's published documentation, plan structures, and publicly available independent lab results.

2. Walkthrough

We work through the interface and feature set of each suite to see how it actually behaves, not just what the box says.

3. Scoring

Each suite is scored on Protection, Performance, Features, Ease of Use, and Value using the same fixed rubric.

4. Updates

Plans and features change, so reviews are periodically revisited and updated to stay current.
